Heli Air Monaco is the national airline of Monaco. It flies from Nice to Monaco with daily services and delivers passengers in 7 minutes. It also operates charter flights to St Tropez, Cannes or any of the destinations within the area.

Flights are distributed under the code YO to travel agencies via les GDS Amadeus,Galileo, Apollo,Sabre, Abacus, Infini and Axess

Ticketing IATA, code YO-747 via most of the BSPs and ARC

Heli Air Monaco was founded 30 years ago in 1976. The fleet was only composed of 1 single 1 seat helicopter "ENSTROM F28", and only 747 passengers were transported that year

1978

To face the demand HELI AIR MONACO buys a second helicopter, a BELL 206 Jet Ranger...

1980

Construction of the international heliport of Monaco Fleet 3 helicopters and 15,237 passengers

1983

Fleet 4 helicopters and 39.673 passengers

1991

A EUROCOPTER Dauphin biturbine AS 365 C3 is added to the fleet. With already 6 helicopters Ecureuil AS 350 (5 seats) and 1 BELL Jet Ranger (4 seats), HELI AIR MONACO becomes the only airline on the Riviera to have this type of helicopters. The main advantage is a greater capacity (10/12 seats). With a fleet of 8 helicopters, HELI AIR MONACO transports 94.300 passengers in 1991.

1995

This is the year of the 1.000.000 th passenger after 19 years of operation. That year HELI AIR MONACO transports 92.795 passengers.

1999

New helicopter arrives. The new born from Eurocopter EC 120 COLIBRI. With a fleet of 8 helicopters, around 100.000 passengers were transported in 1999.

2000

New helicopter, Eurocopter Dauphin biturbine AS 365 N was delivered. 103 000 passengers were transported that year. This is also the year of the 1.500.000 th passenger.

2003

In February, New helicopter EUROCOPTER AS 355 N was delivered.

2004

HELI AIR MONACO is the first airline in Europe to use the new helicopter EC 130 B4 Super Ecureuil

2005

HELI AIR MONACO uses the new EC-155 B1 EUROCOPTER dauphin bi-turbine with a capacity of 12 passengers and 2 pilots for scheduled flight configuration and for VIP clients, a version 5 individual seats in leather

2007

HELI AIR MONACO welcomes a new EC-155 B1

Operations in the Airports

  • Nice Terminal 1 ( international terminal)
  • Nice Terminal 2 ( domestic terminal)
  • Monaco Heliport Checking-in : 20 minutes before up to the last minute
  • Baggage allowance : 20 Kg = per person per helicopter. If the passenger has more kgs this will be transported free of charge in the next helicopter flight.  Passengers have to get back their luggage and check them in again with YO
