Montenegro
Basic informations
Nowhere else will you find so much natural wealth, beauty, mild beaches, clear lakes, fast rivers, and gorgeous mountains in such a small place than in Montenegro. Waking up along the beautiful Adriatic coast, lunching on the banks of Skadar Lake, and enjoying walks in the Montenegrin Mountains cannot leave you indifferent.
Situated in the south of the Adriatic, Montenegro is an excellent choice for a holiday and offers many remarkable characteristics – history, culture, tradition, great weather conditions, clean air, beauty in nature, and the blue Adriatic Sea. Historic walled towns like Stari Bar, Budva, Kotor, and Herceg Novi are perfect for exploring, and anywhere along the coast you can find private rooms in a laze-away seaside town. The interior is a setting of dramatic mountains tufted with pine forests, dotted with lakes, and scared by giddy-deep canyons. The highest region, the Durmitor National Park, is a favorite for winter skiing and summer hiking in pristine landscape while below in Tara’s deep canyon, intrepid rafters challenge its tumbling rapids.
