Cebu is both one of the Philippines' most developed provinces and a place of enormous natural beauty. Beaches, nature preserves, and parks can be found throughout the island.
The Shangri-La Marine Sanctuary

The Shangri-La Marine Sanctuary spans five hectares from the beachfront of the resort. It was formally established by the Lapu-Lapu City Council, filing it under the Lapu-Lapu City Ordinance 425-B-2006, on 26 November 2006.

The Shangri-La Marine Sanctuary Stewardship Group, composed of the resort, Scotty’s Action Sports Network, and Amores Charities, Inc., shares the responsibility of protecting the fragile coral reefs of Mactan, Cebu.

Furthermore, the hotel management and staff participate in coral recovery programmes and monthly beach cleanups.

For Families

Adventure Zone

The Adventure Zone is a multi-level playground with Daily Children's Activities spaced among three age levels. Long sleeved shirts and socks are required for safety.

Toddler’s Zone

Children ages 0-3 may play in our safe and spacious Toddler’s Zone, where experienced nannies take care of them while their parents are free to enjoy other activities.

Children's Pool

The children's pool, open from 6am to 9pm, is located in the main pool area.

E-Zone

Kids can't wait to head to E-Zone, which features video arcades, table soccer, and other opportunities for shared family fun.

Family Activities

Please inquire about family activities like golf competitions, fish feeding and underwater safaris.

Adults-Only Areas

In order to maintain a serene environment for adults, children under 16 are not permitted inside Chi, The Spa.

For Families

Beach

Our private beach cove and marine sanctuary is a delight for children and adults alike, offering opportunities to simply relax or engage with the environment through diving programs, fish feeding and other water activities. The Beach Bar serves light snacks and refreshing drinks.

Leisure

Pools

The resort offers two swimming pools amid 15 hectares of landscaped gardens. You may enjoy refreshments and drinks at the poolside Buko Bar & Grill.

The children's pool is open from 6am to 9pm.
