Air Botswana Corporation is Botswana's state-owned national flag carrier, with its headquarters located in Gaborone. It operates scheduled domestic and regional flights from its main base at Sir Seretse Khama International Airport.

Air Botswana was founded on 2 July 1972 to succeed two failed former national airlines: Botswana National Airways (1966–1969) and Botswana Airways Corporation (1970–1971). Air Botswana Holdings was responsible for the ownership and leasing of aircraft, and served as the holding company for Air Botswana. During the early formative years, Air Botswana (Pty.) Limited acted as a contractor for numerous flight services, which were contracted to South African Protea Airways, via a local subsidiary, Air Services Botswana.

 

 

Société Aircalin, also known as Air Calédonie International, is a French airline and is the international airline of New Caledonia. The Aircalin company commenced operations in 1983.

It also operates domestic services in Wallis and Futuna. Including Wallis and Futuna, it operates scheduled services to twelve destinations in Oceania and Asia, including Japan. Its main base is La Tontouta International Airport. It is headquartered in Nouméa.

 

 

Air Europa Líneas Aéreas, S.A.U. is an airline in Spain, the third largest after Iberia and Vueling. The airline is headquartered in the Polígono Son Noguera in the Centro Empresarial Globalia in Llucmajor, Majorca, Spain.

The airline is 100% owned by Globalia, a travel and tourism company managed by Juan José Hidalgo. Since September 2007 the airline has been a member of the SkyTeam alliance. Air Europa started in 1986 (registered in Spain as Air España SA and previously known as such) as part of the British ILG-Air Europe Group and 75% owned by Spanish banks. It originally had a similar livery to Air Europe but with Air Europa titles and its aircraft were registered in Spain.

 

 

Air Mauritius Limited, operating as Air Mauritius, is the flag carrier airline of Mauritius. The airline is headquartered at the Air Mauritius Centre in Port Louis, Mauritius.

The company is the fourth largest carrier in Sub-Saharan Africa, and has an important standing in the European, African, and Indian Ocean region markets; the airline won the “2011 Indian Ocean Leading Airline Prize”, making it the seventh year in a row for it to win the award. The company was set up on 14 June 1967 by Air France, the BOAC enterprise, and the Government of Mauritius, with a 27.5% stake each; the balance was held by Rogers and Co. Ltd., the general sales agent for Air France and BOAC in Mauritius.

 

 

Air Namibia (Pty) Limited, which trades as Air Namibia, is the national airline of Namibia, headquartered in Windhoek. It operates scheduled domestic, regional, and international passenger and cargo services, having its international hub in Windhoek Hosea Kutako International Airport and a domestic hub at the smaller Windhoek Eros Airport.

The origins of the airline trace back to November 1946, when South West Air Transport (SWAT) was established. Using Ryan Navion equipment, this carrier started operations in 1949 linking Windhoek with Grootfontein. Charter and cargo flights were also undertaken. In 1950, the company started feeder services for South African Airways.

 

 

Air Seychelles is the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, with its head office located at Seychelles International Airport on the island of Mahé.

It operates inter-island services, charter services and international flights. Its main base is Seychelles International Airport. The airline offers international flights to Abu Dhabi, Antananarivo, Johannesburg, Mauritius, Mumbai, Beijing and Paris. Air Seychelles also operates daily domestic flights and charter services throughout the archipelago.

 

 

Air Pacific Limited, trading as Fiji Airways (and formerly as Air Pacific), is the flag carrier airline of Fiji. It is based in Nadi and operates international and domestic services to 10 countries and 17 cities around the Pacific Ocean, including Oceania, the United States and Hong Kong. Fiji Airways annually transports almost two-thirds of the visitors to the country.

The airline was founded by Australian aviator Harold Gatty who in 1931 had been the navigator on a record-breaking round-the-world flight with Wiley Post. Gatty moved to Fiji after World War II and registered the airline in 1947 as Katafaga Estates Ltd., after the coconut estate Gatty had established on Fiji's eastern island group. Gatty renamed the airline as Fiji Airways in September 1951. The New Zealander Fred Ladd was Fiji Airways' first Chief Pilot.

 

 

Hawaiian Airlines is the largest airline in Hawaii. It is the 8th largest commercial airline in the US, and is based in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The airline operates its main hub at Honolulu International Airport and a secondary hub out of Kahului Airport on the island of Maui. Hawaiian Airlines operates flights to Asia, Hawaii, New Zealand, Australia and the United States Mainland.

 

 

Hong Kong Express Airways Limited, or HK Express, is a Hong Kongese low-cost airline which provides scheduled air service to twenty-eight destinations in Asia, including China, Japan, Korea, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, U.S. Territories, Taiwan and Thailand.

The airline's main hub at Hong Kong International Airport uses a fleet that consists exclusively of Airbus A320 family. The airline is one of the four founding members of the U-FLY Alliance. Its head office is in One Citygate in Tung Chung, Lantau Island. Hong Kong Express Airways Limited was incorporated on 10 March 2004, with the former Chinese name, 港聯航空公司, added on 21 April 2004.

 

 

Myanmar National Airlines, formerly Union of Burma Airways, Burma Airways, and Myanma Airways, is a state-owned airline and the flag carrier of Myanmar, based in Yangon. It operates scheduled services to all major domestic destinations and to regional destinations in Asia.

Its main base is Yangon International Airport. Founded in 1948, it is one of the second oldest airlines in Asia after Philippine Airlines. The airline was founded by the government after independence on 15 September 1948, as the Union of Burma Airways (UBA). It initially operated domestic services only, and international services were added in 1950. Myanmar National Airlines provides ground-handling services for Other airline's charter, schedule and non schedule flight.

 

 

Pegasus Airlines is a Turkish low-cost airline headquartered in the Kurtköy area of Pendik, Istanbul with bases at several Turkish airports.

On 1 December 1989 two businesses, Net and Silkar, partnered with Aer Lingus to create an inclusive tour charter airline called Pegasus Airlines and services were inaugurated on 15 April 1990 with two Boeing 737–400s. However, four months after the launch, Iraq invaded Kuwait and the seven month occupation that followed had a serious effect on Turkish tourism. By 1992, tourists began returning to the country and Pegasus grew with the acquisition of a third 737-400. The airline leased a further two Airbus A320s to meet the summer demand.

 

 

Royal Air Maroc, more commonly known as simply RAM, is the Moroccan national carrier, as well as the country's largest airline.

RAM is fully owned by the government of Morocco, and has its headquarters on the grounds of Casablanca-Anfa Airport. From its base at Mohammed V International Airport, the carrier operates a domestic network in Morocco, scheduled international flights to Africa, Asia, Europe, and North and South America, and occasional charter flights that include Hajj services.

 

 

Shandong Airlines Co,.Ltd. is an airline based in the Shandong Airlines Center in Jinan, Shandong, China. The Chinese carrier operates mainly domestic trunk routes from Jinan, Qingdao and Yantai to major cities in China.

It is owned by Air China and holds a 10 percent stake in Sichuan Airlines. Shandong Airlines was established on 12 March 1994 and started operations in September of the same year. In September 1997, it jointly founded the Xinxing Aviation Alliance along with five of China's provincial airlines. On 21 April 2014, Shandong Airlines committed to order 50 Boeing 737s, including 16 Next-Generation 737s and 34 737 MAXs. The order still needs to be approved by the Chinese government, and the airline will receive the aircraft in batches between 2016 and 2020.

 

 

Shenzhen Airlines is an airline headquartered in Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport in Bao'an District, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China.

With a fleet of over 100 narrowbody aircraft (a mix of Airbus A320 family and Boeing 737 Next Generation types), Shenzhen Airlines is the fourth largest domestic carrier in the Chinese market with around 7% of seat capacity and flights. The carrier operates a total of 137 domestic airport-pairs involving 58 Chinese airports, plus nine international routes. In 2010, the airline carried 16.5 million passengers, up 9% on the previous year.

 

 

Somon Air is the first private airline in Tajikistan with an office headquartered in Dushanbe. The airline operations are based at Dushanbe International Airport.

The airline started operating on February 5, 2008 with regular flights to Moscow and Dubai. Somon Air also serves as the official carrier of President of the Republic of Tajikistan and other Tajikistan high-ranking officials. Since formation, Somon Air has been primarily focused on passenger service and transportation to Eastern Europe and other locations. Most flights to international destinations operate from Dushanbe.

 

 

TAAG Angola Airlines E.P. is the state-owned national airline of Angola.

Based in Luanda, the airline operates an all-Boeing fleet on domestic services within Angola, medium-haul services in Africa and long-haul services to Brazil, Cuba, China and Portugal. The airline was originally set up by the government as DTA – Divisão dos Transportes Aéreos in 1938, rechristened TAAG Angola Airlines in 1973, and gained flag carrier status in 1975. It is now a member of both the International Air Transport Association and the African Airlines Association.

 

 

Flexflight ApS is a Danish airline company based in Roskilde at Copenhagen-Roskilde Airport.

Flexflight offers charter flights with their business travel aircraft, the management of foreign aircraft and ticketing systems for airlines with their IATA code W2 - the Rhein-Neckar Air. Flexflight connects the Straubing airfield with Salzburg.

 

 

Oman Air is the national airline of Oman.

Based on the grounds of Muscat International Airport in Seeb, Muscat, it operates scheduled domestic and international passenger services, as well as regional air taxi and charter flights. Its main base is Muscat International Airport. Oman Air is a member of the Arab Air Carriers Organization.
