Welcome to the land of Etna, where steep alleyways and flower-filled squares look out over the Mediterranean. Family Resort welcoming children of all ages, with children's club facilities from 2 years old.

In the swimming pool, children under 3 who are not yet potty-trained must wear a disposable swim nappy.

At Kamarina you can enjoy Sicily in the shade of the olive trees. Depending on your mood, you can stroll through the charming paved streets of the Villaggio amid blossoming bougainvillea, or cool down in the beautiful swimming pool, set in a delightful flower garden.
In this vast 96-hectare Resort, which offers tennis and sailing, parents and children can enjoy a fabulous family holiday.

Non smoking Resort

The indoor areas and rooms are non-smoking areas (electronic cigarettes are included in the no-smoking rule).

Gardens consisting essentially of eucalyptus, laurel, and pine trees and a huge variety of flowers.

Beach

Two public beaches to choose from:

• The first beach, near the hotel, is a 270 yard stretch of fine sand, equipped with deckchairs, showers and parasols
• The second beach (330 yards long), in the Villaggio area, is where the water sports activities are based. It has deckchairs, showers, parasols and a beach bar.

Accommodation

The Resort has 680 rooms split between typical bungalows (Villaggio) and an elegant hotel. The Villaggio is a labyrinth of narrow streets and pretty paved squares, with flowers galore, just like a real Sicilian village. The bungalows are made of local stone; they have one upper floor and no lift. The hotel, away from the centre of the Resort, has 3 upper floors and a lift. All the rooms have balconies.

Les Dunes

Located in the centre of the Resort, this spacious restaurant is ideal for all generations; enjoy international dishes from the buffet at all meal times, in an Italian trattoria-style atmosphere. The restaurant is open at certain dates.

Vulcano

In the centre of the Resort, alongside the main buffet restaurant, don't miss trying the local specialities in this genuine Italian restaurant.

Trinacria

Situated on the ground floor of the hotel with a sea view, this restaurant is open for all meals in an intimate atmosphere.

Cavallo Marino

Take advantage of this restaurants's great location to lunch or dine by the sea; international cuisine and a selection of Sicilian dishes.

BABY CORNER special service

This baby corner, located in the main restaurant, proposes sweet and savoury baby foods and the equipment necessary for preparing babies' meals.

Bars

Available all day and evening (during bar opening hours) in all the bars in all our Resorts.

The swimming pool bar

Around the hotel swimming pool, a stone's throw from your deckchair, this is a great bar for the whole family.

Beach bar

On the beach with a splendid view of the bay, this is the ideal place to spend your days beside the blue waters of the Mediterranean. Snacks served.

Nightclub bar

From the moment the nightclub opens, until it closes for the night, enjoy the buzzing ambience.
This is a non-smoking bar.

Flying trapeze Academy with circus activities - Included in your package

The Sports Academies propose the best equipment and facilities for flying trapeze enthusiasts. Beginners and advanced participants alike will be able to enjoy their sport in the best possible conditions.
Group classes for all levels, 6 days a week, give you the chance to make real progress and master your movements (trampoline, juggling, balancing).

The Club Med Spa by DECLÉOR, the precious power of 100% natural and active Essential Oils, for a new art of wellness and beauty. 
The Spa is ideally located in the heart of the Resort, in the well-being and relaxation area, by the main pool.

You'll find:

• 7 individual treatment rooms
• A Zen area
• Zen tea room
• Bathrobe for use during your treatment

All our treatment programmes are organised around a theme.

Organise your Spa sessions

• Sign up for your Spa packages when you book your holiday, so that you can choose your timing in advance: in the daytime, before 5 pm (your session will end at 5 pm), or in the early evening, from 5 pm. Your choice of timing will be the same for every day of your Spa treatments. When you book your holiday, and purchase your Spa package, you are guaranteed of doing the treatments of your choice, but the precise time of your appointments will be fixed with the Spa hostesses when you arrive. You should consequently go to the Spa reception at the start of your holiday in order to finalise your Spa schedule.
• The majority of our Spa packages are designed for men and women (expectant mothers or mothers with a baby less than 3 months old or who are breast feeding are not advised to take Spa treatments). If in doubt, please consult us.
• You will be asked to complete a confidential questionnaire before doing your Spa treatments or package, in order to ensure that you are apt to receive your chosen treatment.
• A Spa package is not transferable, and must be done by the person who purchased it. The treatments may not be modified or replaced by the client.
• Treatments (à la carte or as part of a Spa package) cancelled during the client’s stay without a medical justification, and changes in timing made less than 24 hours in advance, cannot be taken into account; the said treatments may not be replaced or refunded.
• For your safety, you must wear anti-slip sandals in the Spa. A pair of anti-slip sandal is included in the purchase of our 1 to 6 day Spa packages.
• Club Med reserves the right to change, cancel or postpone its Spa programmes.

The term "massage" implies a superficial manipulation of the face or body, solely for aesthetic purposes, sometimes to ensure good penetration of a cosmetic product, or for comfort. The massage referred to is an external massage of the skin, with no medical or therapeutic aim. It may be done manually or with mechanical aids, exclusively by qualified, trained professionals.

With the benefit of over 40 years’ Club Med experience behind it, our Resort proposes innovative clubs for children and teenagers:

• Opening hours that allow parents to make the most of their stay, and respect the children’s desires and sleeping patterns

For information: the children’s clubs are open all week, except Friday.

You’ll then go on to discover Noto, renowned for its Baroque architecture and its « street of churches » that has one of the finest views in the whole of Sicily.

Getting to the Resort

For clients who have not bought the transport package Transfer to/from Catania airport*
The price given corresponds to private transfer for all participants.
You can book this service when you make your main holiday booking, or later on, by going onto your Customer Space.
Can be booked up to two days before the start of your holiday.
Transfer from Catania Fontanarossa airport to Club Med takes 1 hour 30 minutes.
