Classical City Tour of Rome with the visit to Pantheon, including pick-up from the hotel (Join-in)
- During this tour you will visit the classical monuments of the Eternal City in 3 hours both by coach and on foot. Crossing Piazza della Repubblica with the Fountain of the Nayads, the local guide will take you on a pleasant stroll through the historical center, where you can admire the Trevi Fountain, La Colonna di Marco Aurelio, the Palazzo di Montecitorio, designed by Bernini, the Pantheon (visit inside), Palazzo Madama - seat of the senate, Piazza Navona, Via dei Coronari (the Antiquarians Road). Passing alongside Castel Sant`Angelo and along Via della Conciliazione, you will get the Basilica of St. Peter, which you can visit with headphones provided by your guide. You will also have the opportunity to admire the Pieta, a masterpiece of Michelangelo. The duration of the tour is approx. 3 hrs. Tour ends at St. Peter’s Basilica.
Tour to Vatican Museums with skip-the-line access to St. Peter’s Basilica , including pick-up from the hotel (Join-in)
- The tour begins by coach passing through Piazza della Repubblica with the Fountain of the Nayads and following the ancient Aurelian walls which once surrounded the ancient city. From Piazza del Popolo where you will see an Egyptian obelisk dating back to the time of Ramses II. Finally, on arrival at the Vatican Walls, your guide will then lead you into the Vatican Museums taking the beautiful Spiral staircase and continuing through the Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Geographical Maps before arriving in the famous Sistine Chapel with its magnificent fresco of the Last Judgement by Michelangelo. The bus will take you back to the hotels zone (centrally located hotels only) after a free time visiting St. Peter`s Basilica. The duration of the tour is approx. 4 hrs. Please note that this tour departs daily except Sundays.
