20:00 - Budapest by Night tour including Folklore Dinner (incl. pick-up from the hotel)
- You will your first evening in Budapest with a delicious dinner in a charming restaurant with gipsy music in the Buda Castle Quarter. Then, from the comfort of your coach will get a first glimpse of the city: Budapest-by night-view from the Fishermen’ Bastion (photo-stop), crossing the Chain Bridge you can enjoy the sight of floodlit buildings along the River Danube. Driving along the famous Andrássy Avenue you will reach the Heroes’ Square (photo-stop). The tour ends in the downtown. The duration of the tour is approx. 4 hrs.
Budapest Food Tour (Join-in):
- This tour will give you the opportunity to experience Budapest through its many flavors. Starting from Erzsébet Square, you will take a short walk to explore the Market Hall/Vámház körút in the downtown at the Pest foot of Petőfi Bridge. The Iron Lady and the legendary Lady-Di also visited this famous place. During this tour you will be able to learn how to cook Hungarian traditional dishes and even will receive a graduation certificate and the cooking recipes! The program ends with a rich buffet lunch with wine, then free time for shopping. The duration of the tour is approx. 2-3 hours.
Full-day Tour to Eger – Wine Region (incl. pick-up from the hotel) (Join-in)
- This tour will take you to Eger (130 km), famous for its historical wine region, the land of the Egri Bikavér (Bulls’ Blood Wine). You will visit the baroque monuments of the town, the Basilica and the huge castle. Then 3-course-lunch and tasting of 3 kinds of wines will follow in one of the most wonderful wine cellars in Szépasszony völgy (Beautiful Lady) valley. The tour ends in the city center. The duration of the tour is approx. 9 hours.
