1st
Day

Chiang Rai - Thailand

  • Arrival in Chiang Rai Airport (Meet and transfer to your hotel to check-in and the balance of the day is free at leisure.)
  • Afternoon visit local market and local temple (Wat Phra Kaew, said to have been the original place where the Emerald Buddha was found, now venerated in the Bangkok's Wat Phra Kaew Chapel.)
  • Then proceed to Wat Phra Singh that is a fine example of Lanna Thai religious architecture
  • Return to hotel
  • Accommodation: in CHIANG RAI

2nd
Day

Chiang Rai - Thailand

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • This morning enjoy boat trip along Kok River to Hilltribe village
  • Local lunch will be provided at infamous ‘Golden Triangle’ area (Where the borders of Thailand, Burma and Laos meet.)
  • Visit the Golden Triangle (Its sights and scenes present images of a traditional way of life unknown in the western world.)
  • Return to hotel
  • Accommodation: in CHIANG RAI

3rd
Day

Chiang Rai - Thailand

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Leave Chiang Rai (Touring begins with a drive to Thaton to visit Akha and Padong (Longneck Hilltribe) villages.)
  • Lunch will be served
  • Next drive to Chiang Mai visit the acclaimed temple Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep (Home to a holy relic of the Lord Buddha and considered by many to be the most sacred Wat in northern Thailand. In the evening, a traditional ‘Khantoke’ traditional dinner is on the program.)
  • Typical Thai dishes from the northern region are served while elegant Thai dancers are performing
  • Accommodation: in CHIANG RAI

4th
Day

Chiang Mai - Thailand

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • In the morning we visit an elephant camp to see the elephants at work during a half-hour presentation
  • There’s also an opportunity to watch the elephants as they take their morning bath (During your visit to the camp, you’ll have an opportunity to ride on elephant back during a one hour trek into the surrounding forest continue a leisurely cruise on a bamboo rafting along Ping River to the raft station before heading back to having lunch at Orchid Farm.)
  • Return to the hotel for overnight
  • Accommodation: in CHIANG MAI

  • Transfer from the hotel to Chiang Mai Airport for your departure flight
