- We`ll start our unique KL Temple Tour with Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, where the smell of burning jasmine, incessant chantings of Hindu priests, incessant carved deities and the mystical aura combine to give you lasting impression of the religion. Established in 1873, the Sri Mahamariamman Temple is known to be the oldest and richest Hindu temple in Kuala Lumpur. We`ll then move on to the resplendent Jamek Mosque, better known as Masjid Jamek among the locals. Built in 1909, Jamek Mosque is the oldest mosque in the city.
- The mosque sits at the meeting point of the Klang and Gombak rivers, which is also the birthplace of Kuala Lumpur. Our final attraction will be Thean Hou Temple, which was located in Jalan Sultan until 1987, after which it was relocated in its current place. It is considered to be one of the largest and most visited holy places in Malaysia. The decorative beams, pectacular roofs, domed ceiling, calligraphic couplets, murals and elaborate embellishments reflect the features of Chinese architectural beauty in Malaysia. The duration of the tour is approx. 4 hrs.
